Royani Saha

Royani Saha is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Health Sciences at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, University of Arizona. Her research explores how communities can prepare for extreme heat and other environmental health threats through cooling centers, microbial transmission dynamics, and AI/ML driven solutions to build stronger local systems. She earned an Integrated Master’s in Medical Biotechnology from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences in India and has contributed to interdisciplinary public-health research as she is part of SCORCH, ESRAC, and also a GFV Sparks Cohort student. Originally from India, she is passionate about science communication and translating research into practical tools that can help communities become safer and more resilient.
