Grace Windler

Department of Geosciences

Grace Windler is a PhD student in the Department of Geosciences and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. She received her B.A. in Earth and Planetary Sciences and Media Arts from the University of New Mexico, where she used meteorite samples to understand the chemical composition of the early solar system. She earned her M.S. in Geosciences from the University of Arizona, where she began her ongoing research using organic material from marine sediments to reconstruct past climate changes in the Indian Ocean Basin for the last 450,000 years.
