Claire Taylor, from Salt Lake City, UT, is an MFA student in Illustration & Design through the School of Art. She holds an MS in Environmental Humanities and a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Utah. Her most recent solo exhibitions were held at the Utah State Capitol and the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. She has held artist residencies at the Natural History Museum of Utah and the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. She has held teaching-artist residencies across Utah with remote rural populations and incarcerated youth, with lessons focusing on art and ecology. She has illustrated for environmental writers including authors Craig Childs, Amy Irvine, Pam Houston, and Wendell Berry. Examples of her artwork can be seen at www.clairetaylor.art
