Anton A. Samoylov is a graduate student pursuing a Chemical Engineering PhD in the department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego prior to coming to Tucson. Having grown up in the SF Bay Area, Anton is passionate about researching innovative tech for our evolving world. Currently researching the mechanical stabilities of perovskite and semiconducting polymer materials for energy applications, Anton hopes these materials will be crucial in making renewable energy production and storage devices accessible for all. Having been involved in a number of outreach events at UC San Diego, Anton was excited to continue pursuing outreach with the NSF IndigeFEWSS program at the University of Arizona.
