A Life of Science: Embracing Water by Gloria Jimenez

Oct. 22, 2016

The Carson Scholars program is excited to announce a partnership with the longest-running online literary environmental magazine, Terrain.org: A Journal of the Built + Natural Environments. Exquisitely designed and edited by poet Simmons Buntin, a graduate of the University of Arizona's creative writing MFA program, Terrain will launch a new series featuring the work of the current Carson Scholars cohort and alumni. Called A Life of Science, the feature will present essays and other writing, with hopes of inspiring readers to understand not only research findings but the textures of the lives of scientists and others engaged in the crucial work of helping the planet along in an age of unprecedented change.
