Sophia Borgias awarded Alexander B. Murphy Dissertation Enhancement Award

2018 Carson Scholar and Agnese Nelms Haury Fellow, Sophia Borgias has been awarded the Alexander B. Murphy Dissertation Enhancement Award from the Political Geography specialty group of the Americal Association of Geographers (AAG). This $1,000 award will support Sophia's dissertation project, "Rights and resistance in a 'resource colony': The struggle for struggle for water and sovereignty in Owens Valley, California."
