Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
Anthony Dant headshot

Anthony is focused on understanding how the eco-evolutionary traits of organisms are affected by urbanization. As a PhD student in the lab of Dr. Katrina Dlugosch in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department, he is currently working with the invasive plant Centaurea melitensis to help answer questions related to eco-evolutionary traits in urban environments. Additionally, Anthony is exploring how socio-economic elements of different cities lead to changes in the environment that ultimately affect the eco-evolutionary patterns of invasive species. Anthony obtained both his bachelor’s and master’s in biology at Cal Poly Pomona.
