Rachel Zollinger is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and PhD student in Art and Visual Culture Education at the University of Arizona. She additionally holds a BFA in Sculpture from the University of New Mexico and a MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Sierra Nevada University. She has worked extensively in museums, community spaces, and other informal learning sites developing and facilitating arts integration, STEAM curricula, and environmental education programming for K-12 students, families, and education professionals. Her research interests are largely focused on multidisciplinary approaches to children’s ecological literacy and agency through art and science. Her current work aims to explore multispecies and land pedagogies alongside collaborative, arts based learning.
